Castor & Pollux

Meet Castor and Pollux, the Gemini twins! These two almost identical brothers were found living at a wedding venue and are as close as can be. It’s hard to tell them apart but Pollux is slgihtly bigger & has a little knot at the end of his tail—Castor’s canines always show like a little vampire! We’re hoping to find a home where they can stay together.

From the moment I picked them up, they purred the entire car ride to the vet and even made biscuits while getting their shots—completely calm and lovable. Once they settled into their spare room, their playful side really shone through. These two are incredibly athletic, scaling a 4-foot gate with ease and getting into everything. They have boundless energy and love to play, but they also have a sweet, cuddly side, often seeking out your lap for pets and affection. Castor will often bring you toys asking for play. He loves a few rounds of fetch. Both will come stand on your lap if you’re sitting asking for attention.

Castor and Pollux are perfect for someone who can handle a couple of energetic, mischievous cats racing around the house but who also has time to sit and cuddle them when they’re ready to relax. If you’re looking for a pair of adventurous, affectionate cats, these two will bring tons of love and fun into your home!

Are they right for your home?

They’ve gotten along really well with female cats. They want to be playful and rough house with other male cats so I’m not sure they would do well with an established male cat. They have not been around dogs. They do extemely well with kittens even if the kittens take their toys they show exteme patience.
They love to be held (often will hug your shoulder and lay their heads down on you as you carry them through the house) and you can give them all the kisses you desire. They adore getting pets. They love to be next to you and would love nothing more to both be able to curl up next to someone at night.
They are both large cats 12lbs + They love running around and playing with their toys. Currently, they have had a large catio to go outside in during the day and night. Every now and then they are allowed to go outside into the small fenced back yard for playtime and grass snack time. They’re very athletic cats and would enjoy large spaces to move around.
Castor and Pollux are extemely lovable and great pets. They would do well with children and anyone who has lots of time to give them love and attenton . We see the best case scenario home as a place where they are only pets or have a calm female cat or docile dog. They’re able to have limited outdoor time. Someone let’s them cuddle up at night and spend lots of time playing with them. Castor will more often than not bring his toys to you asking for playtime.
